Festival Fever

My V Festival ticket for 2013 has just been purchased I'll be seeing Beyonce, Kings of Leon, The Script, Calvin Harris, Jessie J, Fun, Scouting for Girls, Of Monsters and Men and many more. Bring it on!
(Can't wait to start planning the outfits!!)

Are you going to any festivals this year, and whats your favorite one?
I'm kinda gutted I'm not going Wireless this year to see Justin Timberlake but V will definitely make up for it!

Playlist

Only just realised I haven't done my 'monthly' playlist since September, so whilst I'm snowed in I thought it might be good to attempt January's one!

Fun: Carry On
Taylor Swift: I Knew You Where Trouble
One Direction: Kiss You
The Lumineers: Hey Ho
Justin Timberlake: Suit and Tie
Phillp Philips: Man on the Moon

My playlist this month is definitely the most 'poppy' its been, think it might have something to do with my end of Christmas blues.
What have you all been listening to recently?

Mumford and Sons

Seeing this years Brits nominations made me realised I never blogged about seeing Mumford and Son (due to working a lot of overtime last month) I saw them at the O2, it was the biggest indoor gig they'd ever done at the time. We where reasonably near the front of the concert, I had very high expectations of them as they are one of my favourite bands and oh my they did not disappoint! They thoroughly deserve their Brit nomination of best live act and best of luck to them!

Who are your favourite acts live?

A night at Beoga

Leather Jacket: H&M
Top: River Island
Jeans: River Island
Shoes: New Look

A Few weeks ago a group of us went to see a traditional Irish band called Beoga. It was such a good night, the majority of  was just having a drink and a laugh, but I did get up and do some ceili (which is traditional Irish group dancing, sort of like line dancing I guess) I can tell you after a few drinks I have never been swang round so fast in all my life, thank god I kicked my heels off!

I'm not normally a jeans and heels girl, I normally dress up to the absolute nines, but looking back at photos I love this outfit, it really makes you stand out. Definitely going to be wearing jeans on a night out again, what do you all think?

The Hottest Festival

Sun Glasses: TopShop
Top: Forever 21
Shorts: Time

Last weekend I went to V Festival in Chelmsford and it was absolutely amazing, we had perfect weather as it was the hottest weekend of the year and some of my favourite bands where playing including the headliners, The Killers, which we where really near the front for! My festival style was quite laid back, along with my hair and make-up which I didn't do much with, just wore some build up tan to give me a nice glow. What's your festival style do you go minimal or glamorous?

Have any of you been to a festival this summer and who was your favourite ever festival artist?
