Just a large glass of House Wine x5

Last Saturday we went to Shaka Zulu (my favourite ever club) in Camden for Josh's 20th. For all you that haven't been there it is the most amazing club, its South African themed the décor is just crazy OTT and it even has escalators!  ESCALATORS!! meaning no having to precariously wobble up and down stairs all night in 5 inch heels.

Sorry for the lack of photos, I keep on forgetting to take them and when I do remember they aren't the prettiest sight, this was really the only half decent one. I wore a tie-die midi from Quiz and an oversized clutch from River Island. I did my hair with rollers to add volume, did my normal going out make-up, glowy skin, smoky eyes and big eye brows. And decided to add a little bit of colour with my Mac Russian Red lipstick and painted my nails with OPIs Thrill of Brazil, which is an absolute perfect colour match for the lipstick!

Amika

Dress: Forever 21
Bag: Zara
Shoes: New Look

Its was my finally friend to finally turn 18, no more worries about anyone being turned away with fake ID any more. So we decided to celebrate our baby girls birthday and head to Amika in Mayfair. Thankfully we new a promoter who sorted us out with few drinks all night, as it was really pricey. The club was good though, and we had an amazing time!

I went with this dress from Forever 21, I don't think the pictures really do it justice, at the back it had a deep v and where it joined it a black bow. I love Forever 21 stuff, I got so many complements on the dress and it was such a bargain.

The GBs

For all you that regularly follow my blog, you'll know I'm an Irish dancer. Last weekend I competed at the Great British Championships and came over all 6th (I was 2nd British girl though, wooo!) meaning I got my highest major place ever. Naturally as I was away for the whole weekend, I used the excuse of 'celebrating' for the next two nights to go out with all my friends in Irish dancing, as some of them are from America, Canada and Ireland I don't get to see them regularly, so we made it a serious night to remember!
Sorry for the poor quality of photos, but it was one of those weekends where you definitely did not want to bring your camera. Mattresses from an apartment ended up down the street, I hid in a wardrobe from security, people where dancing on tables, climbing and braking in to childrens play areas and we did a fair few drunken jigs. The morning after we where all hanging incredibly bad and swapped stories, my belly has never hurt so much from laughing. A week on I can safely say I've recovered, even though it did take five days for my voice to come back!

Saturday Night

Dress: H&M
Belt: Primark
Shoes: New Look

If you follow me on Twitter you'll know I'm a hard working girl and hardly ever get a Saturday night off, but due to the good weather we didn't have many bookings at work meaning I could actually go out on a Saturday Night. We went to Evoke, its been open for a couple of months now but I still haven't managed to go. Its claiming to be Essex's first 'Super-Club', I had heard a lot of mixed reviews, so didn't really know what to expect. Over all I thought it was good although I do normally prefer a bit more of a laid back club/bar feel, but in my eyes if it servers Tequila Rose its going to be a good night what ever happens!
P.S. sorry for the dodgy iphone photos

The Hottest Festival

Sun Glasses: TopShop
Top: Forever 21
Shorts: Time

Last weekend I went to V Festival in Chelmsford and it was absolutely amazing, we had perfect weather as it was the hottest weekend of the year and some of my favourite bands where playing including the headliners, The Killers, which we where really near the front for! My festival style was quite laid back, along with my hair and make-up which I didn't do much with, just wore some build up tan to give me a nice glow. What's your festival style do you go minimal or glamorous?

Have any of you been to a festival this summer and who was your favourite ever festival artist?

On Saturday we went out in Chelmsford for Aimme's 20th. A few of us chipped in to get her a Mulberry Friendship bracelet that was just gorgeous and she loved it, definitely worth a look if your looking for a present for someone. It was a really good girly night out, proving you do not need boys to have a good time, just your beautiful best friends!

On Sunday I went to Sugar Hut to celebrate one of the girls 19th Birthdays. Although I live about ten minutes away from Brentwood, I don't often go out there. However it was a really good night and not over priced. We met Sam Ferris (who is just as beautiful and lovely in real life), Joey Essex and Diags, which definitely made my friends birthday as she's a massive TOWIE fan and got a photo with them. I've never overly associated myself with the TOWIE stereotype although maybe looking at the amount of products I use and amount of time I take to get ready I may be a little more 'Essex' than I thought. I don't think it looks to fake though, I'm Essex born and bread and proud!

Saturday Nights Outfit

On Saturday we celebrated my friend Amy's 21st at Picadially Institute, here are just a few quick snaps

Black backless leotard: ASOS
Black belt: Primark
White skater skirt: River Island
Black wedges: New Look
Earrings: TopShop

I wore my hair in pin curls during the the day, which involves curling the hair with a tong then pinning it up in a spiral  and spraying with hairspray. I then took them out and pinned them to the side. The pin curls create a better volume and texture than just using tongs alone.

Roll on the Wine!

Here are just a couple of snaps from my friends Shannon's 19th. We had VIP at Shaka Zulu, a really amazing club, and wasn't as pricey as some London clubs. I'd definitely recommend going there, drinks and music where good, they didn't let to many people in so it wasn't to crowed and had an excellent atmosphere.

On a happy note, this weeks been going really well. For some reason, I'm just overly positive at the moment,  not even this a dismal weather can get me down.
How have all your weeks been?

As its Easter holidays I'm definitely making the most of going out, as after I'll be back to working hard and starting my revision. We went out to Chelmsford and had drinks in Lloyds before heading to Missoula. Met up with some people from college and just had a really good night.

How have all your Easters been?

A Little Treat

1.HQ. 2.HQ 3. TOPSHOP 4.PRIMARK
Had a lovely shopping trip with my Mum this afternoon as it’s my Birthday next week and I haven’t really asked for much, so I could choose out a few things as presents. I absolutely love what I ended up buying, the top and skirt from HQ look a lot nicer on, as they flow beautifully making them look so elegant. The two sets of underwear are just gorgeous and feminine, they're a good quality to, very impressed with Primark!
How have all your weekends been so far?

Piccadilly Institute

On Saturday we went to the Piccadilly Institute for a friend’s 24th, coincidently in Piccadilly London. We were on a guest list so had free entry and got to queue jump, a plus! The club was amazing, it had six different rooms all with amazing and different decor, themes and music, sorry I didn’t really take any picture, but when you’re having a good night you forget! On a slight down side, I thought the club was a little too over pack and it had four storeys, so make sure if you go to wear comfy heels! For a West End club drinks weren’t too expensive though. I would recommend this club, I’d never actually heard of it before but it’s definitely worth going, don’t let the name put you off! Also if you plan to go, try and get on the guest list as the queue was really long.

Cafe De Paris

I’ve decided to start blogging again, as I love looking back at old posts, and what better way to start than sharing my weekend.
This weekend I went to Cafe De Paris for one of my friends 18th. It was absolutely amazing in there, we were very lucky to be on VIP to, so had free drinks flowing all night.
